SauderBuilt History

SauderBuilt was founded by Mark Sauder in 1978. Formerly known as Mark L. Sauder General Contractor, the business has operated under the same ownership and in the same location for thirty years. The Sauder family has been an established name in the Grabill community since 1830. Mark Sauder was born and raised in Grabill, Indiana and still resides in the area. Our Company has maintained an unblemished financial record with all suppliers and subcontractors and holds an A+ rating with the BBB of Northern Indiana.

 

We are very proud of SauderBuilt’s historic reputation for quality workmanship, integrity, and service that far exceeds industry standards. Thanks to our reputation, new clients are often referred to us from satisfied customers or other professionals in the construction industry. Our projects consist of a mix of new construction custom homes, remodeling jobs, and light commercial work. The geographical area we cover is a sixty mile radius around Fort Wayne, Indiana.

We strive to provide a package to our customer that includes the best possible design, workmanship, personal attention, and value. Our goal is to construct a small number of custom projects to the highest standards rather than to be the largest builder in the area. By focusing on a few projects at a time, we are able to give each project the attention it needs and consistently achieve the superior results.

 

Over the years, we’ve refined our building process and efficiencies. By pairing our process with hard work ethic, we are able to compete favorably on price with our competitors. Our advantage is the amount of experience that is represented on the job site each day. Mark and the other SauderBuilt key employees are on site every day to maintain the structural integrity and the quality of your project. We feel it’s important to have long-standing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers that share our business philosophy in order to promote accountability, quality, and service.
