Craftsman

We are seeking an individual with a positive attitude and an interest in the construction industry, ideally with relevant experience. On-site training will be provided. The craftsman at SauderBuilt Custom Homes will have a variety of responsibilities, including assisting construction supervisors, building decks, performing miscellaneous framing, and roofing tasks. Additional duties will encompass siding installation, cabinet setting, interior trim installation, supporting final punch list activities, and maintaining cleanliness of structures and job sites, among other tasks.

-Capable of following instructions and completing tasks independently or as part of a team.

-Is eager to learn and has the ability to communicate with coworkers, subcontractors, and vendors.

-Enjoys collaborating in a team environment on various projects daily and weekly.

-Capable of working outdoors in all seasons, in buildings without heating or air conditioning.

-Capable of using levels and hammers, operating saws, power drills, and other hand tools, and learning to use skid loaders and other small construction equipment.

-Is adept at working on ladders and scaffolding, and is capable of climbing to heights while utilizing appropriate safety equipment.

-Can carry and handle heavy loads while moving around a construction site.
