Sneak Peak at our Model Home
Anyone out there in the process of building or buying a home? I think we all know that either of those experiences can be stressful and time consuming. At SauderBuilt, we're in the process of building our first model home in years. It's been a nice change of pace to pick all the features and finishes ourselves. Most of the structural work is done, and we're starting to work on the finishing touches. I thought it might be fun to give you all a sneak peak at some of the custom features that our model will have. It might inspire you with ideas for your own search or product. Or maybe, you'll just want to buy this house instead!
First off, we have a double-sided, gas fireplace. It divides the eat-in kitchen from the living room and features a beautiful, custom mantle. The top picture is the view from the living room and the bottom picture is the view from the kitchen.
Next, we have custom made woodwork that contains a mixture of painted and stained wood work. This photo is the staircase down to the basement. You can also see in this photo the beautiful painted trim throughout the house. There is three piece crown molding in the foyer, 5.5 inch base trim, and 3.5 inch casing around doorways and windows. It gives the home a very bright and modern feel.
Security is a concern for all homeowners. Our model home features an innovative new product called Bandit Latch. Bandit Latch is an entry door product that replaces the wood jamb with a high security metal jamb, making it virtually impossible for an intruder to kick in the door. Bandit Latch is installed on all three entry doors in our model home to provide homeowners with peace of mind. The last photo is the back patio at our model home. It features stamped concrete that is modern and fresh. This will be a great place for entertaining and cookouts.
These pictures highlight just a few of the custom features in our model home. Several more features that aren't pictured are:
An 8 foot kitchen island.
Combination of tile, laminate wood, and carpet flooring.
Room off the living area that could be used as a den or formal dining room.
Three car garage.
Walk-in shower.
Walk-in closets.
Open floor plan.
Lots of natural light.
Option to finish the basement adding a 4th bedroom, additional bathroom, storage room and rec room.
